1. 慢生活 slow living
《去有风的地方》这部剧最大的特点就是“慢生活”，英文叫做 slow living，过“慢生活”我们可以说 live a slow life，“放慢脚步”可以说slow down。相对的，“快节奏的生活”就是fast-pace lifestyle。
All I want is a small, slow, simple life.
我想要的只是慢悠悠的，小小的简单生活。
As long as you keep moving at your pace life is cool.

2. 内卷 rat race
rat race指的是“像老鼠一样疲于奔命，尽可能获得一点竞争优势”，对应到中文其实表达的就是我们说的“内卷”。这部剧提倡的“反内卷”，我们可以说 quit the rat race。英文中还有一个固定搭配叫 keep up with the Jones，这里的Jones指的就是某个比你富比你过得好的假想友邻，因此这个短语指的就是“互相攀比，不落后于他人”。而职场上的“内卷”可以用climb the corporate ladder来形象地表达。

剧中刘亦菲饰演的许红豆因闺蜜陈南星去世备受打击。闺蜜我们可以用bestie、bosom friend/buddy/pal来表达，或者用简写BBF（指best friend forever），这些词英文中也可以用于男性朋友，但女性用得更多。另一个类似的词是“死党”，英文可以用partner in crime，它原本指的是“犯罪同伙”，用在朋友之间比喻“能一起经历困难的好友”。

4. 民宿 B&B
剧中李现饰演的谢之遥在大理开了间民宿，民宿用英语我们可以说 B&B，它指的是 bed and breakfast，指提供住宿和早餐的家庭小旅馆，也可以用guesthouse来表达。一般来说，B&B可能是私人住宅改的，而guesthouse就是为了满足旅客住宿要求而建造的。另外一种常见的小旅馆是青旅，英文叫youth hostel，hostel和hotel相比更便宜。
