中英恢复直航

据英国驻华使馆消息，英国交通部（Department for Transport）和中国民航局已经正式达成共识，恢复英中之间双向直航客运服务。中国政府在新冠疫情期间实行的直航禁令将告结束。旅客仍可在第三国进行转机。
According to the British Embassy in China, the British Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Administration of China have officially reached a consensus to resume the two-way direct passenger service between the UK and China. The ban on direct flights imposed by the Chinese government during the COVID-19 pandemic will come to an end. Passengers can still transfer in a third country.
初期的客运服务将由中国的航空公司提供，英国航司的航线恢复工作仍在进行中。请关注各航空公司有关航线、航班时刻表和票务的相关公告。
The initial passenger service will be provided by Chinese airlines, and the route restoration of British airlines is still in progress. Please pay attention to relevant announcements of airlines on routes, flight schedules and ticketing.

英国取消警局注册
英国政府网近日发布消息，取消警局注册要求，8月4日起，超过16岁、前往英国居住超过6个月的人不再需要进行警局注册。
The British government website recently announced that the police registration requirements have been cancelled. From August 4, people over 16 years old who will live in the UK for more than 6 months will no longer need to register with the police station.

按照此前规定，年龄大于16岁且持有签证有效期大于6个月的部分外国人（包括中国），被要求在到达英国后7天内去英国警局注册，注册费用为34英镑。如未按时完成注册，轻者被口头警告，重则会被罚款。
According to the previous regulations, some foreigners (including China) who are over 16 years old and hold visas valid for more than 6 months are required to register with the British police within 7 days after their arrival in the UK. The registration fee is £34. If the registration is not completed on time, people may be given a verbal warning or be fined.
然而自疫情以来，警察局注册严重积压，许多留学生往往都要等待数月才能进行警察局注册。取消警察局注册无疑将为留学生群体提供很大便利，同时还可以节省34英镑注册费用。
However, since the outbreak of the pandemic, there has been a serious backlog of registration at the police station. Many overseas students often have to wait several months before they can register at the police station. Canceling the police registration will undoubtedly provide great convenience for the overseas students, and at the same time, it can save £34 of registration fees.

Should I retain my Police Registration Certificate?
没必要保留该文件。无需向警官或移民官员出示证书。当申请在英国居留许可时，也将不再需要用证书证明已注册过。
It is not necessary to retain your certificate. You will not be required to produce the certificate to a police officer or an immigration officer. When applying for permission to stay in the UK you will no longer be required to evidence your registration with the certificate.
Q：我已经支付了注册费。我能拿回我的钱吗？
I have already paid my fee to register. Will I get my money back?
不会。您向警方支付的费用是为了支付在仍要求注册时的管理和处理申请的费用。
No. The fee you paid to the police is to cover the cost of administering and processing your application to register when the requirement to register was still applicable.

虽然警局注册已经取消，但如有以下信息变更，仍需向内政部报告。
Although the police registration has been cancelled, the following information changes still need to be reported to the Home Office.
地址变更
无需申请新的BRP即可更改地址；可通过线上或寄送纸质表格的形式更新地址。（地址的变更进行在线申请即可，无需重新申请BRP）
You can change your address without having to apply for a new BRP. You can either report a change of address online or fill in the change of circumstances form and send it to the address on the form.
个人信息变更
如果姓名、国籍、容貌、生日日期（例如之前的信息错误）、性别，这些信息发生变更，则需要申请新的BRP。且申请需在3个月之内完成，不然可能会被处罚至多1000英镑的罚金或面临被缩短逗留时间。
You must apply for a new BRP straight away if any of these things change: name, nationality, facial appearance, date of birth (for example if it was wrong), gender. You must apply for a new BRP within 3 months or you can be fined up to £1000 or have your stay shortened.
其他信息变更
须报告在申请BRP中提供的信息的任何其他更改，包括：被判有罪、和伴侣分手了、失去了孩子抚养权。
You must report any other changes to the details you gave in your BRP application, including if: you get a criminal conviction, you separate from your partner, any of your children stop living permanently with you.
