Not to be confused with:
boar – an animal
boor – a peasant; a course, rude person: He is such a boor that I never invite him.
“I am boring”的意思是：我是一个让他人觉得很无聊的人。
“I am bored”的意思是：我因为某人或某事而感到很无聊。
主语+to be+现在分词=主语使（某人/某事）怎么样。
主语+to be+过去分词=主语被（某人/某事）怎么样。
注意
上面括号里的“某人/某事”在英文中可说可不说。
boring是动词的现在分词，bored是动词的过去分词。用过去分词来表达被动的意思。
类似用法的单词还有：interesting/interested, tiring/tired, amazing/amazed。
例句:
I am interesting. 我是个很有趣的人。
I am interested. 我对某事感兴趣。
I am tiring. 我是个会让人累的人（例如话多之类的）
I am tired. 我很累。

I am amazed. 我因为（某事而感到惊讶）。
