Farmers from Northwest China's Shaanxi Province have built a museum at the site of the No l tomb of the King Qinjinggong (577- 537 BC), the largest tomb unearthed in the country. The museum, which began construction last year, was officially opened to the public this week. Farmers from Nanzhihui Village, Fengxiang County, provided cash to build the museum.

The Kingdom of Qin was one of the major kingdoms during the Spring and Autumn Period (770 - 476 BC). Chinese archaeologists began excavation of the No l tomb between 1976-86 and unearthed more than 3,500 relics. The No l tomb was listed under State-level protection in 1988.
