The total amount of money needed to help drought victims in the Horn of Africa region is $377.716,014. The area affected includes nine African countries. The countries that are the most badly affected by drought are Ethiopia, Kenya and Eritrea. United Nations aid will help over 100 million people who might be badly affected when their crops die and their water sources dry up.
