　　Tokyo is much more expensive than Beijing.东京比北京物价高得多。

　　A: Yes, I like visiting Beijing very much.

　　A: 是的，我非常喜欢来北京。

　　B: So do I. I rent an apartment here. Prices are very reasonable.

　　B: 我也是。

　　A: Yes, I lived and worked in Tokyo before. Tokyo is much more expensive than Beijing.

　　A: 是的，我以前在东京住，并在那里工作。东京的物价比北京高得多。

　　B: People say rents in Tokyo are higher than London, New York and Paris.

　　B: 人们说在东京租房子比在伦敦、纽约和巴黎贵得多。

　　A: I'm sure that's true.

　　A: 我肯定这是真的。

　　B: But Beijing is more expensive than a few years ago.

　　B: 但是北京的物价也比几年前高了。

　　1. To talk about prices, for example, rents, you can say: 要谈论物价，例如，rents /房租的价格，你可以说：Prices are very reasonable.价格非常合理。或者，Rents in Tokyo are higher than London, New York and Paris.在东京租房子比在伦敦、纽约和巴黎贵得多。

　　2. To compare prices now with the past, for example, a few years ago, you can say: Beijing is more expensive than a few years ago.要比较现在和过去的物价，例如，现在和几年前的差别，你可以说：北京的物价比几年前高了。
