　　1. at every turn

　　意思是“Everywhere; also, continually, at every moment”，例如：

　　Free Willy -- 人鱼的童话

　　Free Willy is a 1993 Warner Brothers film about a boywhobefriends an orca (killer whale).When fishermen sete a young orca named Willy from his parents,heends up in a glorified fishbowl at a marina in the Seattlearea.Meanwhile, a street kid named Jesse (Jason James Richter)getscaught vandalizing the marina, but his social worker,Dwight(Mykelti Williamson), helps him avoid legal consequences,providedhe cleans up his mess at the marina. While there, Jessebefriendsthe orca and teaches him tricks, something the trainer,Rae (LoriPetty), had failed to do. However, when Willy is unable toperformeffectively in front of the audience, the owner of themarina plansto kill Willy for the insurance money. Thus, Jesse andhis friends,including an Indian shaman named Randolph (AugustSchellenberg),must free Willy.

　　The aquatic star of this film was an orca named Keiko. Thehugenational and international success of this movie inspired aletterwriting campaign to get Keiko released from his captivity asanattraction in the amusement park Reino Aventura in MexicoCity.Keiko was released into a bigger pool in Oregon when hisdorsal finwas damaged because his old pool was too small. ThoughKeiko waseventually released, he continually sought out humancontact, andeventually died near Norway.

　　The film managed to improve the image of orcas, whichwerepreviously depicted as shark-like maneaters in popular culture.Infact, they pose little threat to humans unless attacked.
