The Great Wall（长城）

　　In my dream, The Great Wallis a flying dragon,floating overlushmountains.My ancestors fight their long journeytowards apeacefuland harmonious land.From the moon, The Great Wallis amarveloustotem,shining with durative sheen.My contemporaries carryit withesteem,enhance its solid foundation.Upon my heart, The GreatWallisan eternal home,crossing over the Pacific Ocean.My offspringwillfollow its beckoningtowards a root-searching return.(Selectedin ananthology the Bcenter Future in 2005)

　　长城

　　在我的梦里，长城是一条飞翔的巨龙，盘旋在崇山峻岭之中。

我的祖先一路搏击，守卫平和安宁的土地。从月球上，长城是一个奇迹的象征，闪着永恒的光彩。我的同伴带着自信，谱写它坚实的根基。在我的心里，长城是永远的家园，穿越太平洋的两岸。我的子孙们将沿着它的召唤，走向寻根的归程。（编辑:赵露）（本文作者星子，毕业于南京大学计算机系。1999年移民加拿大从事电脑职业。自2003年开始写诗，迄今有50多首中英文诗歌在海外发表。其英文诗集荣获加拿大2005年TedPlantos 纪念奖。获奖诗歌Toronto , No More Weeping 在加拿大国家电台CBC播放。2006年，星子成为加拿大诗人联盟二月诗人，安大略诗人协会会员，加拿大华语诗人协会理事。有英文诗集《 Jasmine StarLight》《 Beyond My Knowing 》和中英诗合集《作别向日葵》。星子现住多伦多, 从事电脑工作。）?ā?Hц?6r
