She first got behind the wheel aged 17 but didnt qualifyuntilher 40th birthday nearly a quarter of a century later. Shesays shesuffered a form of driving dyslexia which saw her unabletonegotiate roundabouts and corners. She was so bad that duringher23-year apprenticeship she was only ever ready to take two tests—and passed the second.
