不论上学的脚步有多么匆忙，不论考试的压力有多么大，春暖花开的日子里，

　　别忘了出去走走、看看，尽情享受，拥抱这个美好的季节。

　　There’s something in the air right now and I call it spring fever. So many may wonder, “What is this so-called spring fever?” Well, let me explain. The weather is getting warmer and warmer, the grass and trees are turning green once again, and the long awaited Labor Day holiday is in full bloom. And along with the change in the weather come changes in our frame of mind. We are excited about the spring season. In fact, all of us have been longing for this beautiful weather since last October or early November.

　　Spring fever gives us a high. It makes us over-excited to run outside to the nearest playground, it puts smiles across all the faces of people young and old, it changes our mood!

　　How to deal with spring fever

　　Perfect timing, I would say. Oh, I’m talking about Labor Day. It so conveniently falls at the time of year when we not only need a break from school, but at a time when the weather is so perfect! We need to take advantage of the weather this spring. Use the time during our holiday to go outside and become one with nature. Join some friends and take a walk around one of the parks in a special area of town. This is not only refreshing, but the smells and sounds of nature can blow one’s mind! Join some friends and play a game of basketball after school. Some of us even enjoy poetry or reading, so we could find a small area of grass, lie down and indulge.

　　It doesn’t matter what activity you enjoy doing the most, do it outside! Embrace your spring fever.

　　When spring fever turns bad

　　The sunshine and sounds of spring can also bring about bad behavior by students as well. Some students might be more focused on playing a ball game outside with friends than concentrating on homework or chores at home. Even some of us might be restless while having to spend time indoors. Don’t let your spring fever bring about bad behavior. If you want to spend more time outside during your holiday, wake up early so you can enjoy as much time outside as possible. Take every opportunity you can to get a breath of fresh air, but don’t let it make you act out of control!

　　Don’t forget to come back down

　　Spring fever can also make us forget about the realities of life. Enjoy the holiday but don’t forget that we are going to have to come down from our spring fever high! We shouldn’t let the spring control us; we should take control of the spring! Take control of our lives!
