Lenovo moves to New York
联想进军纽约
Lenovo's $1.75 billion purchase of IBM's personal computer business moved the Chinese company into the global arena. In an effort to further globalize the company, Lenovo will move its headquarters to IBM's base in Armonk, New York. Top executives at Lenovo want to utilize the international experience of IBM's world-class management team. In preparation for this move, senior management personnel at Lenovo are required to study English and the company's chief executive, Liu Chuanzhi, has given up the day-to-day management of the company and assumed the role of chairman.

手机病毒的威胁
Virus 112, a Demark based organisation that monitors computer viruses worldwide, has added the mobile phone viruses to the list of what it tracks. To date, the only mobile phone viruses were ones that were created in anti-virus labs. But as phones become more like mini-computers the threat of viruses increase. Phones with anti-virus software are already available in Japan and will come on the market in Europe and North America this year.
在全世界范围内监控电脑病毒的丹麦组织“病毒112”已经在其追踪的名单中增加了手机病毒一项。到目前为止,仅有的手机病毒都是在防病毒实验室里制造的。但是,随着手机变得越来越像微型电脑,病毒的威胁也增加了。带有防病毒软件的手机在日本已经有售,并将于今年投放到欧洲和北美市场。
