When speaking English, whether it is at work or in a social situation, there will be occasions when you will have to guess, be vague or give imprecise information. When someone asks you a question and you are not 100% sure of the answer yourself you will need to give an answer while at the same time expressing that you are not definite. For many students of English the solution is to simply add a "maybe" to their answer. The problem is that "maybe" is not always suitable and saying it too often makes you sound repetitive.
