Drinking Games 饮酒游戏
Drinking games are popular among young people. That's not to say every time young people go out they will play drinking games. They are usually employed to ①liven up the atmosphere and are popular at parties. Here are but a few examples.
饮酒游戏在年轻人中颇为流行。但这并不是说年轻人每次出去喝酒都会玩游戏。这些游戏通常是用来活跃气氛的，在聚会中颇受欢迎。以下就是几个小游戏。
Alphabet 字母游戏
Everybody sits in a circle. The first player starts off the game by thinking of a word. The next person must think of another word that begins with the same letter that the last word ended with. If one person says "apple", the next person can say "England", and the next word could be "duck". However, while each person is thinking of a suitable word they must drink from their glass. Only when they have thought of a word can they stop.
大家围坐一团。游戏开始时，第一个人要想一个单词。下一个人也必须想一个词，这个词的首字母必须是上一个词的尾字母。如果一个人说“apple”，那么下一个人就可以说“England”，而接下来的单词则可以是“duck”。然而，每个人在思考单词的过程中，都必须要喝酒。直到想到一个合适的词后，他才可以停止喝酒。
If someone says a word that begins and ends with the same letter such as "mum", the direction of the game reverses. All mistakes are penalized by having to drink one glass.
如果有人说了一个首尾字母相同的词，比如“mum”，游戏将会以方向相反的顺序进行下去。出错的人将被罚酒一杯。
If this is too easy, the game can be adapted to increase the difficulty. Instead of being able to say any type of word, specific categories, such as place names or famous people's names, can be used. Whatever way you chose to play, this game is a good way to practice your English and get hammered in the process. The next day, when you have a splitting headache, call your boss and say that you have to take the day off because you were studying English late the night before.
如果觉得这个太简单了，就可以增加游戏难度。由原来的接任何单词都可以，转为按规定类别接词，例如只能接地名或者人名。无论你选择何种玩法，这个游戏都可以很好地让你在游戏过程中既练习英语又喝得酩酊烂醉。第二天，当你头痛得快要爆炸的时候，你就给老板打个电话，对告诉他你要请一天假，因为你昨晚学英语学得太晚了。
Six 六杯酒游戏
For this game six glasses and a die are required. Place the six glasses in a row. Five of them are to be filled with different alcoholic beverages and one is left empty. The first player rolls the die. They must then drink the glass that corresponds to the number they have rolled. For example, if they roll a four, they must drink from the fourth glass. After drinking they must refill the glass with a drink of their choice. The same player must then roll again and so on until they get an empty glass.
这个游戏需要6只杯子和一只骰子。将6只杯子摆成一排。在其中的5只杯子中倒上不同的酒，留一只空杯。第一个开始玩游戏的人掷骰子。在掷完骰子后，他/她必须按照所掷的数字喝下相应杯中的酒。举例来说，如果他/她掷的骰子是4，他/她就必须喝尽第4只杯子中的酒。在喝下杯中酒后，他/她要重新将杯中倒满酒，酒的种类由自己选择。进行这个游戏的人要一直掷骰子，直到骰子上的数字对应的杯子是空杯为止。
