Part II Coffee Dialogue 咖啡精彩对话 Brad and Louise just sat down in a small café and are about to order some coffee. Brad: Know what you want Lou? I'll call the guy over. Louise: Hang on Brad, I dunno, there are so many... Brad: Well, I just want one coffee, milk two sugars. Ah good, he's ⑤coming over. Waiter: Hello there. And what can I get for you today? Brad: One coffee, milk two sugars for me. Lou? Lousie: Hmm, I usually get a cappuccino but there seems to be all sorts of weird and wonderful things here. I think I need more time... Waiter: No problem. Sir, what kind of coffee would you like? Brad: Just the usual, but add plenty of sugar. Waiter: We don't have “the usual” here. I'll tell you what we have, Brazilian, Costa Rican, Italian, Columbian, a whole variety of decaf - if you want that rubbish - as well as organic for the health freaks, Arabic, Zimbabwean I could go on, Sir, but these probably mean nothing to you? Brad: Y'know I'm not too bothered. What would you recommend? Waiter: I particularly like the Ethiopian one. Of course then you must select how you want it. Espresso, latte, mocha, cappuccino, as a shake - it is hot today... Brad: Oh Christ...look fine I'll take the Ethiopian just serve it normally in a mug and add milk and sugar. 布莱德和路易丝刚刚在一家小咖啡馆坐下来，准备享用咖啡。 布莱德：路易丝，想喝点什么？我要叫服务生口罗。 路易丝：等等，布莱德，我好没想好呢，有这么多可以选择的…… 布莱德：我就想喝杯咖啡，加奶和双份糖。好，服务生过来了。 服务生：你们好，请问两位想喝点什么？ 布莱德：一杯咖啡，加奶和双份糖。路易丝，你呢？ 路易丝：我通常都会来一杯卡布奇诺咖啡的，但这里的咖啡品种似乎比较多也比较奇怪哦，我需要再想想…… 服务生：没问题。先生，请问您喜欢喝哪种咖啡？ 布莱德：一般的就好，但是要加足糖了。 服务生：我们这里没有“一般的咖布莱德：你知道，我并不太介意。你有什么好的提议吗？ 服务生：我特别喜欢埃塞俄比亚咖啡。当然，您得选择用哪种方式煮咖啡。意大利浓咖啡，拿铁咖啡，摩卡咖啡，卡布奇诺咖啡，或是咖啡奶昔——现在非常流行。 布莱德：哦，真是太好了，我就选埃塞俄比亚咖啡吧，用杯子装就行了，加牛奶和糖。 Waiter: Perhaps taste it first, you might find you enjoy the original flavour... Brad: Ok, but bring me a jug of milk and some sugar anyway. Waiter: Fine, and for you madame? Louise: If I asked for a cup of tea would you ⑥ throw me out? Waiter: We are a café madame! Louise: Only joking, don't ⑦get your knickers in a twist. Brad: Come on Lousie, just take something quick, cappuccino right? Louise: Hey, you just took all day picking something, give me a chance, alright? Brad: Just hurry up. Louise: Hmm, I think I'll go for something exotic as well. What is your most exotic thing? Waiter: Roast Sumatran. The bean is grown on the slopes of the Sumatran highlands where the orangutans play and is roasted in old clay ovens before being shipped off the island. Louise: That'll do. Waiter: I'll bring your order over. Brad: Oh for the days of instant coffee.
