China’s top tyre manufacturer Shanghai Tyre and Rubber will inject
937.4 million yuan (US$113.2 million) assets into a planned joint
venture with the French firm Michelin.
The injection will give the Shanghai B-share company 28.5 per cent
in the joint venture, Shanghai Michelin Warrior Tyre. Yesterday,
it topped the Shanghai B-share market, raising its 10 per cent limit
to 55 US cents.
