passed ,Forrest obtained success in many fields .Then ,one day his
mother calls him ,wanting to se him.)
F:What's the matter momma?
Mother : It's my time. It's just my time.Oh. now ,don't you be afraid sweetheart. Death is just a part of life .Something we are all destined to do .I didn't know it ,but I was destined to be your momma .I did the best I could .
F: You did good ,momma.
Mother :Well .I happen to believe you make your own destiny. You have to do the best with what God gave you.
F:What's my destiny, momma?
Mother: You're gonna have to figure that out for yourself. Life is a box of chocolates ,Forrest .You never know what you're gonna get.
F:Momma always had a way of explaining things so I could understand them.
Mother :I will miss you,Forrest.
F:She had got the cancer ,and died on a Tuseday .I bought her a new hat with little flowers on it .
F:Now because I'd been a football star ,a war hero and a nationalcelebrity and a shrimping boat captain and a college graduate, these cityfolks of Greensboro Alabama decided to get together and offered me a fine job .So I never went back to work for Lieutenant Dan ,though he did take care of my Bubba Gump money .He got me invested in some kind of fruit company .So then I got a call from him saying "we don't have to worry about money no more ." and I said :"That's good. One less thing."Now Momma said there is only so much fortune a man really needs and the rest is just for showin' off .So I gave a whole bunch of it to the Forrest Square Gospel Church .And I gave a whole Fishing Hospital .And even though Bubba was dead and Lieutenant Dan said I was nuts ,I gave Bubba's momma Bubba's share .You know what? She didn't have to work in nobody's kitchen no more .And 'cause I was a godzillionaire and I like doin' it so much , I cut that grass for free .But at night time when there was nothing to do and the house was all empty ,I'd always think of Jenny.

母：那得靠你自己去把握。福勒斯特，生命就象一盒巧克力，个中滋味往往出乎意料。
福：妈妈总有办法让我明白事理。
母：福勒斯特，我会想你的。
福：她得了癌症，星期二她走了。我给她买了顶缀着小花的帽子。
福：因为我做过足球明星，战争英雄，国家名流，虾船船长和大学生，格林斯伯勒的父老乡亲聚在一起决定给我一份好差事。所以我再没回去和丹中尉拍挡了，他继续打理我布巴甘普公司的股份，还替我投资一间"水果"公司。然后他打电话告诉我说："我们从此不用担心钱啦。"我说"好呀，少一种麻烦。"妈妈说过人需要的钱实在有限。闲钱只不过用来炫耀。于是我捐了笔钱给福勒斯特广场福音教会，也捐了另一笔给拜尔拉巴厅勒渔人医院。虽然布巴死了，丹中尉也说我是个疯子，但我还是给了布巴妈布巴的那一份。你知道吗？她再不用替人做厨师了。因为我有很多很多钱，而且我也愿意，所以免费为他们剪草。但到晚上没事做的时候，房子里空无一人，我便会想起珍妮。
