Forrest(F for short):Hello! My name's Forrest.Forrest Gump.You wanna
Chocolate? I could eat about a million and a half o'these. My momma
always said life was like a box o'chocolates .You never know what
you gonna get .Now ,when I was a baby momma named me after the great
civil war hero ,General Nathan Bedford Forrest.She said we was related
to him in some way .What he did was :he started up this club called
the Ku Klux Clan .They'd all dress up in their robes and their bedsheets
and act like a bunch of ghosts or spooks or somethin'. They 'd even
put bedsheets on their horses and ride around .And anyway ,that's
how I got my name: Forrest Gump.
Mother:Did you hear what I said ,Forrest? You're the same as everybody
else .You are no different.
Principal: Your boy is different,Mrs. Gump.And his IQ is 75.
Mother: well,we're all dirrerent, Mr.Heincock.
F:She wanted me to have the finest education, so she took me to
the Greensboro County Central School.. I met the pricipal and all
.
Principal: I want to show you something ,Mrs.Gump. Now this is normal.
Forrest is right here .The state requires a minimum IQ of 80 to
attend Public School ,Mrs. Gump .He's gonna have to go to a special
school. And he'd be just fine .
Mother: What does normal mean anyway? He might be a bit on the slow
sid .But my boy Forrest is gonna get the same opportunities as everyone
else.He's not going to some special school to learn how to repair
tires .We're talking about 5 little points here. There must be somethin'can
be done.
福勒斯特（简称"福"）：你好！我叫福勒斯特，福勒斯特 甘普。要巧克力吗?我可以吃很多很多。我妈常说：生命就象一盒巧克力，个中滋味往往出人意表。我出生的时候，妈妈用内战大英雄的名字给我命名，他叫内森

校长：甘太太，你儿子与别人不一样。他的智商是75.
母亲：海因柯克先后，人都不一样。
福：她要我接受最好的教育，于是带我去格林斯伯勒中心学校。我见到了校长他们。
校长：甘太太，我让你看点东西。这是正常的福勒斯特在这儿。甘太太，智商至少要有80才可读公立学校。他得去特殊学校，那儿对他比较适合。
母亲：什么叫正常？福勒斯特学东西可能是要慢一点。但我的孩子福勒斯特也要和别人一样享有平等的机会。他不会去什么特殊学校学习怎样翻新轮胎。我们在讨论那小小的5分。一定会有办法的。
